Join Georgia Shakespeare's Intern Company
Welcome to Georgia Shakespeare’s Intern Company!

Georgia Shakespeare, as it states in our mission, is a thoughtful, bold, passionate theatre, dedicated to putting the best actors, designers, and directors in touch with the best stories of all time on our stage. These experiences ignite the imagination, and empower the human spirit—but it takes people who are thoughtful, bold, and passionate to make them happen.

Our Intern Company was designed with the intention of creating a structured yet free environment in which talent can emerge and develop. Our year-round program, with commitments ranging from 6 to 16 weeks, allow exploration in a variety of areas throughout the company. Stipend or college credit is available, and Intern Company members may earn EMC points if serving as an understudy or a production assistant. We welcome you to take advantage of the resources that are at your finger-tips. In addition to working within a specific area of our professional company, Intern Company members will also receive assistance and feedback on resumes, cover letters, and portfolios; opportunities to speak with senior staff members; and field trips to other metropolitan Atlanta theatres.

If you are a bold, passionate young artist, we invite you to be a part of our journey—to learn and grow while working with a world-class, professional, LORT theatre nestled in the heart of the South.

We can’t wait to see you here!
