“With the help of your good hands…”
- Prospero, The Tempest

Great theater takes many ingredients to be a success. The most important ingredient in making theater a success is you – the audience member and donor.

Without your support we would not be able to hire the directors and actors that take the words from the page to the stage. Without your enthusiasm, we wouldn’t have costumers, carpenters, and technicians to take raw materials and create a magical new world in only four weeks. Without your attendance, we wouldn’t have someone to share the magic with when the house lights go down and all the cell phones (hopefully) are turned off and we enter a new world – whether it’s William Shakespeare’s Forest of Arden or Tennessee Williams’ New Orleans.

Your tax-deductible donation covers that part of the budget that is not covered by ticket sales. For us, as for most theaters dedicated to doing classically based works, the ticket price covers less than half the cost of putting on the production.

Those productions are only a part of our mission. Georgia Shakespeare has one of the Southeast’s most vibrant education programs. Our Shakespeare for Students Program reaches over 35,000 people each year – many of them seeing and participating in their first theatrical experience!

Every gift we receive helps Georgia Shakespeare fulfill our mission of bringing quality professional theater and innovative arts education programs to our community.

There are many benefits associated with being an individual or a corporate donor.  To make a secure online donation now, please click on the DONATE NOW button to the left.  For more information, call 404-504-3404 or send an email.  Thank you.
