The Odyssey: a Journey Home
based on the work of Homer
adapted by Richard Garner & the Georgia Shakespeare company
A world premiere event!
Sometimes the greatest adventure a person can undertake is the journey home. In our original adaptation of Homer's epic, we will look at the challenges Odysseus overcomes in his quest to finally return home after 10 years fighting the Trojan Wars and see how they mirror those of the modern warrior - physically, psychologically, emotionally.
Home: A place worth fighting for and worth fighting to get back to.
When: Tuesdays - Fridays, October 6 -29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
Cost: $10.00 per student*
Contact: Katie McCrary, Education Coordinator at 404.504.3422 or send an email.
*To show our appreciation, Georgia Shakespeare offers one complimentary chaperone ticket for every 20 students attending the performance. It is important to us that all students attending our student matinees get the best performance experience possible. We value the teachers, administrators, and chaperones that take time to bring students to our student matinee performances.

Homeschool Camp Shakespeare
Camp Shakespeare provides students ages 7 to 12 the opportunity to explore the magic of live theatre and take the Bard's words off of the page and onto the stage, as campers craft their very own performance.
This year's Homeschool Camp is over, but our Summer Camps are just around the corner!
